Witches Day Out "The Crystal Ball"

The Crystal Ball (sponsored by the Witches Day Out Committee and Maiden City Brewing Co.) is the perfect event to capstone your fun and memories at the Witches Day Out event held in historic and haunted downtown Cynthiana, KY on September 28, 2024.

The Crystal Ball event will take place at the Old Cynthiana Jail, which many say has its fair share of beyond the grave residents walking the grounds on dark foggy nights. The jail, built out of local limestone in 1886, is the perfect spooky backdrop for kicking off your 2024 Halloween season.

Dress in costume and make sure you have a shot to win the prestigious Queen and King of the Crystal Ball and accompanying Commissioned Crown, as well as mingle, enjoy delicious food and locally crafted drinks and join in on some witchy themed contests and games.

What to Expect:

🍷 Potion Bar: Two Drink Tickets Per Event Ticket Purchased. Sip on our own local craft brewery's fall beers and ciders as Maiden City Brewing Co. will be on-site serving its award-winning Harrison County brews.

🎃 Costume Contest: The Crystal Ball will be a night of mystical delights. You can expect an affair complete with Victorian-age details and celestial creations in an ethereal atmosphere. Think the dawn of spiritualism in the 19th century...that's where you'll be! So, make sure to dress the part. Whatever interpretation you might have, we can't wait to see it. The best dressed will embody the very nature of our otherworldly affair. They will be the Queen and King of the Crystal Ball and will be promptly rewarded with a specially commissioned crown, to be worn only with respect to the living and the dead...see you there!!

🎼 Spellbinding Entertainment: Dance the night away as Avery Glenn Crabtree plays your favorite songs.

📚 Food: Enjoy a wide selection of heavy hors d' oeuvres

🌙 Photo Opportunities: Capture the magic of the evening with our themed photo booth. Take pictures and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Tickets: Tickets are $35 and include complimentary heavy hors d' oeuvres and two Maiden City Brewing drink tickets as well as loads of entertainment. Regular admission the night of the event will be $40.
